Old Delhi Railway Police have sought public help in identifying the following bodies:-

1.  A male age around 55/60 years, height 5’7”, shallow complexion, thin built, round face, wearing white black lining shirt and brown pant, found on 17-12-2010.

2.  A male age around 20 years, height 5’5”, wheatish complexion, long face, wearing cream colour jeans and sky colour shirt, found on 17-12-2010.

3.  A male age around 70/75 years, height 5’6”, wheatish complexion, thin built, long face, wearing black jersey, white shirt and green lining underwear, found on 18-12-2010.

4.  A male age around 55/60 years, height 5’6”, shallow complexion, thin built, oval face, wearing green upper of track suit having 2 white strips and dark grey pant, found on 17-12-2010.

Ø  Racket involving trafficking of infants/children busted.

Ø  4 persons including 2 women and one doctor arrested.

Ø  Two infants recovered.

A team of officers of the Crime Branch led by Inspr. P.C. Khanduri and consisting of SI R. Sriniwasan, SI Ramesh Sharma, SI Ranvir Singh, ASI Mohan Lal, HC Bharat singh,HC Shivveer Singh, HC Satender, HC Amit Kumar, W/Ct. Santosh, HC Suresh Chand, HC Anil Kumar and HC Dharamveer under the supervision of ACP Ravi Shankar have busted a racket involving trafficking of infants/children. Four persons including two women and one doctor has been arrested. Two infants have been recovered.

Information had been received that a gang is active in Delhi who procures infants/children and then sells them. This information was further developed and on 19/12/2010, specific information was received that at Shivaji Vihar, near Shivaji Enclave the procurer Pawan Sharma would come to deliver a 8/9 months old infant to Ranjeeta Bhasin for further sale of the infant. On this information a trap was laid and Pawan Sharma (aged 38 years) R/o Sector-3 Rohini, Delhi and Ranjeeta Bhasin (aged 48 years) R/o Shivaji Vihar, Delhi were apprehended. A male infant of 8/9 months was also recovered from their possession. A case under the appropriate sections of the law was registered.

Pawan Sharma and Ranjeeta Bhasin were subjected to intensive interrogation. Pawan Sharma disclosed that about two months earlier the male infant had been delivered to him at Delhi by a person from West Bengal. The infant was being given to Ranjeeta Bhasin for finding out a customer for the child. He further stated that around fortnight back he had procured an infant girl from East Delhi at a cost of Rs.30,000/- and subsequently he had given the infant to Ranjeeta Bhasin.

Ranjeeta Bhasin on interrogation disclosed that since 1998 she has been running two organizations one by the name of “Nav Roshini Chetna Mahilla Samiti” and other by the name of “Nav Jyoti Anathalaya” at Raghubir Nagar, Delhi. She further disclosed that around 10 days back she had given a infant girl to Shobha Gupta R/o Madhu Vihar, Dwarka, Delhi and this male infant was also to be given to Shobha Gupta.

Shobha Gupta was apprehended from Madhu Vihar, Dwarka, Delhi. She disclosed that since 2004 she has been running an organization by the name of “Child Care” at Vashistha Park, Delhi. She further stated that she had been introduced to a lady residing at Vikas Puri, Delhi by Anupama Lal a worker of Bal Vihar Mahavir Enclave, Palam, Delhi. The lady (aged 38 years) needed a child as she did not have any issue. Shobha Gupta informed the lady that a girl infant would be available on payment of Rs.1,80,000/-. The ostensible reasons given for the demand of money was that it would be required for completion of legal formalities. The money was paid and Shobha Gupta gave the girl infant to the lady. The girl infant has subsequently been recovered.

Shobha Gupta further disclosed that she took the lady to a medical centre at Prashant Vihar. There Dr. Atul Kumar got prepared certain documents. Dr. Atul Kumar was apprehended. He disclosed that he had been contacted by Ranjeeta Bhasin and Shobha Gupta for preparing false documents regarding the girl infant. He showed the lady as admitted in the medical centre on 11/12/2010 and discharged on 12/12/2010 and that the girl infant had been delivered on 11/12/2010 to the lady. He told that he had been paid Rs.20,000/- for preparing the false documents. The documents that have been recovered are admission register, delivery register, case sheet and discharge slip.

The distribution of Rs. 1,80,000/- paid for the girl infant was that the parents were paid Rs.30,000/-, Pawan Sharma the procurer Rs.25,000/-, Ranjeeta Bhasin received Rs.10,000/-, Shobha Gupta received Rs.75,000/-, Anupama Lal of Bal Vihar Rs.20,000/- and Dr. Atul Kumar Rs.20,000/-

Accused Pawan Kumar, Ranjita Bhasin, Shobha Gupta and Dr. Atul Kumar have been arrested. Both the infants have been handed over to SOS Upvan Home, Safdarjung Enclave, Delhi for their care.

Further investigation is in progress.

CASE OF SERVANT THEFT OF POLICE STATION PUNJABI BAGH WORKED OUT AND STOLEN PROPERTY WORTH RS. 40-50 LACS RECOVERED

The staff of Police Station Punjabi Bagh, West District has done an excellent work after arresting one accused namely Karan @ Kartik s/o Baidhar Das R/o Orrisa and worked out a case of servant theft of worth Rs. 40-50 lacs. The whole case property i.e. diamond and gold jewellery was also recovered from him.

Balasore, Orrisa brother of the domestic servant of the complainant.

Diamond & gold jewelery articles worth Rs.40-50 lacs .

INFORMATION AND OPERATION

A case was registered vide FIR No. 374 dated 16.12.2010 U/S 381 IPC P.S. Punjabi Bagh Delhi on the complaint of Sh. Parveen Soni S/O Late Sh. Dharampal Soni R/O H.No. 65, IInd floor, West Avenue Road, West Punjabi Bagh Delhi alleging that his servant Rajendar Behera has stolen the diamond & gold jewellery worth Rs.40-50 lacs. Investigation of the case was entrusted to SI Daljeet. On this, immediately, a team comprising of SI Daljeet, SI Manohar Lal, HC Bijendar No. 1653/W, HC Naresh No.420/W under the supervision of Inspr. H.S.P.SINGH SHO Punjabi Bagh and all over supervision of Sh. Satish Yadav, ACP Punjabi Bagh, Delhi was constituted to nab the accused and to recover the stolen property. All known persons and relatives of the complainant were verified. The record of Placement Agency namely, Hospitality Services, Zamrudpur, Delhi was also verified. The photo of the suspected accused and other relevant records were obtained from the Placement Agency. The teams were sent to various hide outs of the accused and even his native place. The sources were also developed and CDRs of the accused and his known persons were checked thoroughly.

Then with the sincere efforts of SI Daljeet Singh and HC Bijender Singh No. 1653/W and surveillance of various CDRs, the calls of accused could be tracked and the accused namely Karan @ Kartik s/o Baidhar Das R/O Vill. Daisera , P.S. Soro, Distt.- Balasore, Orrisa ( brother of main accused Rajendar Behera, a servant) has been arrested from a house No. 269 Ist Floor Hauzrani Village, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi. The entire stolen property viz. diamond and gold jewellery worth Rs. 40 -50 lacs was recovered from his possession with in a short period of incident.

MOTIVE

Rajender Behera S/o Raghunath Behara (Brother of Accused Karan @ Kartik s/o Baidhar Das R/O Village Daisera, P.S. Soro, Distt.- Balasore, Orrisa) had just been started working as a domestic servant of the complainant before last 4 days. Rajender had win over the full confidence of his owner, the complainant in a short period. Accused servant, hatched a plan to steal the diamond & gold jewellery of the complainant.

MOTIV OF CRIME

On 16.12.2010 when the complainant along with his family members went to Gurgaon, Haryana at his garment factory, domestic servant, Rajender took the advantage of loneliness and planned to steal the costly households. Then he committed theft of diamond and gold jewellerry and ran away to his brother’s house Karan @ Kartik for handing over all the stolen articles.

Further investigation of the case is in progress. Staff involved in the good work is being suitably rewarded.

NOTORIOUS AUTOLIFTER ARRESTED:8 MOTORCYCLES RECOVERED

With the arrest of one notorious autolifter, the South District Police has solved 10 cases of M.V. Thefts and recovered 8 stolen motorcycles.

ACCUSED ARRESTED:

Anil age 20 years s/o Tejpal R/o H.No 1064 Aya Nagar, Mehrauli, Delhi

INCIDENT, TEAM & ARREST:

In order to prevent incidents of M.V. Thefts and to arrest the criminals involved in these incidents, several teams were formed in South District. A team of Police Station Mehrauli consisting of Insp. Rajiv Malik, SI Om Prakash, ASI Ravi Shankar Tyagi, HC Anil and Const. Bhushan was also constituted. The team so formed laid traps and deployed surprise pickets to track the criminals.

The efforts of police team bore results when on a specific information accused Anil was arrested on 11.12.2010 from the area of Aaya Nagar while he was trying to steal a motorcycle, but accused Aashish managed to escape. A case vide FIR No. 528/10 u/s 379/411 IPC was registered at PS Mehrauli and the stolen motorcycle Enfield No.HRE-6125 was recovered from his possession.

INTERROGATION & PROFILE:

During interogatiion, it was revealed that accused Anil in association with Ashish had stolen 9 more motorcycles from the areas of PSs Mehrauli, Saket and Fateh Pur Beri. Police Custody Remand of accused Anil was obtained and at his instance 7 more motorcycles stolen from the areas of Mehrauli, Saket and Fatehpur Beri were recovered.

Accused Anil has studied up to 4th standard only. In order to meet expenses on various indulgences, he in association with Ashish started committing autolifting. He has been arrested for the first time. After committing thefts, they used to sell the stolen motorcycles to one Rafeeque r/o Mewat, Haryana.

Accused Aashish has previously been arrested by Mehrauli Police in the year 2009 for his involvement in a case of Snatching.

RECOVERY:

1.  Three Bajaj Pulsar Motorcycles

2.  Four Bajaj Discover Motorcycles

3.  One Enfield Motorcycle

Further investigation is in progress and efforts are being made to arrest his accomplices and receiver of stolen property.

GANG OF BURGLARS BUSTED : THREE ACCUSED INCLUDING GANG LEADER WANTED
IN A CASE OF ATTEMPT TO MURDER ARRESTED :
17 CASES OF BURGLARIES & ATTEMPT TO MURDER SOLVED :
STOLEN PROPERTIES INCLUDING JEWELLERY ETC. RECOVERED
South District Police has arrested three desperate burglars
including gang leader who was wanted in an attempt to murder case.
With their arrest, 17 cases of burglaries have been solved and stolen
properties including jewellery, electronics items etc. and motorcycle
use in commission of crime have been recovered.
ACCUSED ARRESTED :
1. Deepak @ Bhondu (Gang Leader), age 25 years S/O Om parkash R/O 40
feet road, Om Vihar, Nawada, Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
2. Daniel, age 24 years S/O Alvis Peter R/O G/3, Gopi Nath Bazar,
Delhi Cantt., Delhi.
3. Vashu, (Receiver) age 32 years S/O Bantu Pawar R/O RZ/K-21, Shankar
Park, Gandhi Market, Sagar Pur, Delhi.
INCIDENT, TEAM, ARREST & INTERROGATION:
In the recent past, several day and night burglary cases were
reported in various parts of Delhi and NCR. A similar incident was
reported on 12.12.2010 in which Sh. G. Pardeep Nair r/o House No.314,
Officers Enclave, PT-II, Dhaula Kuan, Delhi reported at Police Station
Dhaula Kuan that he went to market to purchase some household article
with his family in the evening at around 7.30 P.M. and when he came
back he found that the main door lock and all the locks of almirah
were broken and gold jewellery, cash and mobile phone were found
stolen from his house. On his complaint, a case vide FIR No. 258/10
U/S 454/380 IPC was registered at PS Dhaula Kuan, Delhi and
investigation taken up.
In order to prevent these incidents and to nab the criminals involved
in these cases, several teams were constituted in South District. A
team of Special Staff, South District consisting of SI Sanjeev Kumar,
Jeet Singh, ASIs Phool Singh, Kundan Lal, HCs Ram Kishan, Rajesh,
Premjeet, Hawa Singh, Bhoop Singh, Mahender, Rajinder, Ashok Kumar,
and Constable Makhan Meena was formed to identify and arrest the
criminals involved in such incidents.
The team worked relentlessly and collected details of several
criminals with similar modus-operandi and activated their secret
informers to collect the information about the criminals involved in
these burglaries. These details were analysed minutely and on the
basis of secret information it came to fore that gang headed by Deepak
@ Bhondu might be involved in these incidents of burglaries. The hard
work of police team bore results when on 15.12.2010 specific
information, a trap was laid and accused Deepak @ Bhondu was arrested
from the main gate of Army Golf Club, Delhi Cantt. At his instance,
his accomplice Daniel and receiver of stolen property Vashu were also
arrested.
INTERROGATION & PROFILE:
During interrogation, it was revealed that in order to meet expenses
on various indulgences they started committing burglaries. They used
to mainly target the locked houses and commit burglaries in the
daytime. At their instance, 16 cases of burglaries ( 6 cases of PS PS
Dhaula Kuan, 6 cases of PS Sarojini Nagar & 4 cases of PS Mehrauli)
and one case of Attempt to Murder of PS Dhaula Kuan have been solved
and stolen properties including jewellery, electronic items etc. were
recovered. Deepak @ Bhondu has previously been arrested by Sarojini
Nagar Police in the year 2005 in a theft case and remained in jail for
three months. After releasing on jail he became more desperate and
formed his own gang and started committing series of burglaries and
became nuisance for local police.
In the month of July 2010, Deepak alongwith his associates tried to
kill one of his rivals as he teased his girl friend. A case vide FIR
No. 198/10 u/s 307 IPC was registered at PS Delhi Cantt. in this
regard and NBW was issued against him by the Hon’ble Court.
RECOVERY:-
1. One necklace

4. Three pair ear rings
5. Two gold bangles
6. Silver ornaments
7. One TV- Sony
8. One home theatre - Sony
9. One motorcycle used in commission of crime.
10. Two mobile phones.
Further investigation of the case is in progress and efforts are
being made to arrest their accomplices and to effect more recoveries.
