a) TheAssociations` & Promoter’s right to amend or vary any times as printed in the Official Timetable,’
b) To participate in the Official Opening Massed Band(s) (subject to Rule B.1.06.05) and Finale Massed Band(s)and failure to do so may result in disqualification and / or forfeiture of any prize monies;
c) The Promoter`s right to charge band members’ families the normal gate fee. Band personnel must present their gate passes to gain entry to the ground. Passes will be sent direct to the Bands entered by the Promoter concerned;
d) Participation in the Street March and/or March Off Drill Contest - where offered - irrespective they do not form part of the aggregate contest for all Grade 4 to 1 bands are compulsory contest elements. Failure to do so may well result in disqualification and/or the forfeiture of any eligible prize monies.
e) The consumption of alcohol whilst forming, up for and during massed bands is prohibited until after the massed band has been dismissed by the Senior Drum Major. Attention is drawn to the requirements of Rule A.1.08.01 (acceptable behaviour).

Bands are reminded that participation in massed bands is a requirement of entry and they are to be in the assembly area well before the appointed time as advised in the appended notes to be issued with the draw of each competition. Bands are to follow directions from the contest supervisor or representatives including PBV marshals and the Senior Drum Major and his delegated assistants. Massed bands will commence at the scheduled time unless otherwise notified. Massed bands will not be delayed to include bands that may arrive late.
Pipe Majors, Drum Sergeants and Drum Majors have a responsibility to ensure all players in their band are aware of tune requirements before entering the assembly area.

Preparing for the season and on the day
Bands are reminded to acquaint themselves all requirements relating to registration of players, lodgement of entries and music requirements for all elements to be conducted at contests i.e. the MSR or Selection of Marches, Medley and the March Off Drill Contest.
Please remember to sign-in at the PBV tent by the appointed time at each contest.
Bands are to follow directions from the contest supervisor or representatives including PBV marshals.
Your co-operation will assist in the smooth-running of each contest and ensure an enjoyable day for all players, supporters and the public.
