Architectural Submission Instructions and Form for Home and Property Improvements

Submit this form to the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) prior to any home improvements and/or changes. To be in compliance with the many items in our Deed Restrictions that are under the authority of the ACC, approval is required. There are Deed Restrictions concerning maintenance, alterations, additions, repairs, painting, roofing, shutters fences, sidewalks, driveways, satellites dishes, landscaping, etc.

Please follow the 6 step process for any and all ACC requests.

  1. Resident sends request to Nora/JDH on the attached form or on the webpage.
  2. Webpage.
  3. Click on Communities
  4. Click on Our Communities
  5. Scroll down to Champions Bend Estates Homeowners Association, Inc.
  6. Click on ACC Form
  7. Nora/JDH sends resident a form (if the resident did not previously submit one).
  8. Resident sends completed form to Nora/JDHat .
  9. Nora/JDH sends completed form to ACC/Georgia/Sherry/Bill
  10. ACC/Georgia/Sherry/Bill returns form to Nora/JDH approving or rejecting the residents request (by Texas Law the Board has 30 days to reply after receiving the request.
  11. Nora/JDH returns approved or rejected form to resident.

I understand that the Association’s Architectural Control Committee (“ACC”) will act on this request as quickly as possible and I understand that I may not begin any work prior to receiving ACC Approval.

I understand and agree that it is the duty of the Owner and any contractor or consultant employed by the Owner to determine that the proposed improvements is structurally, mechanically, and otherwise safe, and that it is designed and will be constructed in accordance with the Covenants and Restrictions applicable to the Lot. I agree that neither the Association, or any Director, Officer, Committee, Managing Agent, or member or employee thereof (the “Indemnified Parties”), shall be liable for damages or otherwise because of the approval or non-approval of this application or any facet thereof. I hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless the Indemnified Parties harmless from any claim, liability, damage, suit and attorney’s fees arising out of any action or omission of any of the Indemnified Parties with regard to the application and in regard to the design plan review, construction or inspection of the proposed improvements, including any claims, liability, damages, suits and attorney’s fees resulting from the negligent acts of one or more of the Indemnified Parties.
