Gene fusions may be made conveniently by inserting your gene in the appropriate reading frame in the polylinker located 5’-ward of the GFP+ gene. The GFP+ gene contains GC-rich codons as well as mutations that improve the fluorescence signal (T65), making it suitable for ‘fluorescein’-oriented fluorescence optics.
