YMCA Langille Scholarship

APPLICATION PACKAGE

The YMCA Langille Scholarship recognizes the contributions students make in building our community and helps them financially to reach their potential in post-secondary education. It is made possible through the generosity of a YMCA donor and supporter.

ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED FOR YOUR APPLICATION TO BE CONSIDERED.

  1. Applicant’s Information Form completed in full
  2. Two signed letters of reference and one must be from a YMCA representative (staff person, Board member or volunteer)
  3. Official Proof of Registration for the upcoming term*
  4. Description of YMCA involvement (as a volunteer, program participant and/or employee)
  5. Description of community involvement
  6. Building Communities Essay (500 words minimum/800 words maximum)

*If item 3 is not available at the time you submit your application, it must be received by the application deadline date of August 15, 2017.
