2 / -/- / Lungs / The lungs contain a very prominent infiltrate of small to medium sized lymphocytes with larger blast-like cells in some areas. The infiltrate is present around bronchi, bronchioles and vessels, from hilum to lung periphery. Occasional granulomas are likely to be reactive. The lung parenchyma, bronchi and vessels are normal and there is no dysplasia or malignancy of the respiratory epithelium.
Liver / The liver contains numerous nodular infiltrates of small to medium sized lymphocytes with occasional larger blast-like cells. The infiltrates are mostly in periportal locations. There are also many foci of granulomatous inflammation at the periphery of the nodules and within the liver parenchyma which may be reactive. The background liver architecture, hepatocytes and bile ducts appear normal.
Spleen / The spleen shows expansion of the white pulp by small to medium sized lymphocytes.

4 / -/- / Lungs / The lungs contain an increased amount of lymphoid tissue around vessels and airways, consisting of small and medium sized lymphocytes with plasma cells. The lung parenchyma, bronchi and vessels are normal and there is no dysplasia or malignancy of the respiratory epithelium.
Liver / The liver contains large and sometimes conflent nodular infiltrates of small to medium sized, and occasionally large lymphoid cells with scanty plasma cells. Multiple small foci of neutrophils and eosinophils are present within the parenchyma. The background liver architecture, hepatocytes and bile ducts appear normal.
