Logistics

Our wish is to make this workshop enjoyable intellectually and socially. TsukubaScienceCity, located about an hour and half by bus from Narita airport, is home to more than 50 national institutes of research and engineering excellence. April is a magical time in Japan. Cherry blossoms burst out everywhere and spring is welcomed. The formal conference will last two and half days. We will cover your airfare and per diem expenses for the round trip. You will arrive at NaritaAirport and take an express highway bus to the TsukubaCityCenter. For those who are interested in extending a bit, we have planned an overnight excursion to Hakone for a night at a traditional Japanese inn with hot springs and a following day visit to the 2005 Expo in Aichi ( near Nagoya and the new Centrair airport.

We will cover your expenses for these events. (If you wish to invite your family for these events, we will handle travel logistics but you will be responsible for their additional expenses.)
