World and European Premieres from Chevrolet at Paris

Chevrolet takes center stage at this year’s Paris Motor Show, with two world and two European premieres covering the sedan, multi purpose vehicle, sports car and electric vehicle segments.

  • World Premiere: All-new Cruze sedan

The dynamic 'four-door coupé' styling raises the bar for design among compact cars in the value segment. On sale in Europe from March next year, Cruze features a dramatic re-interpretation of the traditional sedan, featuring Chevrolet's new global design language that is becoming a signature on all new products carrying the golden bowtie. Other 'stand out' design themes include swept frontal styling, a distinctive concave shoulder line and Chevy's signature 'twin cockpit' interior layout.

  • World Premiere: Orlando multi-purpose vehicleshow car

Signaling Chevy's entry into the seven-seat MPV segment, the Orlando show car explores the potential of bringing SUV, family van and wagon bodystyles closer together in a single execution. A muscular stance gives it the activity-orientated appearance of an SUV, yet it offers dynamic ride and handling, excellent fuel efficiency and easy entry thanks to its car-based architecture. The cabin features adaptable, theater-style seating in three rows and cargo-carrying space that is among best-in-class for compact family vans.

  • European Premiere: Chevrolet Camaro Reborn

The all-new Camaro coupé renews its iconic status through modern styling that remains faithful to its traditional appeal. With a strong, low-slung appearance and updated signature design cues, the new Camaro acknowledges its rich heritage without being trapped in a 'retro' design focus. A mighty, 400 hp/294 kW6.2-liter V8 engine, with Active Fuel Management, gives it the muscle to match its looks.

  • European Premiere: Production-ready Chevrolet Volt

The final, production-ready version of the Chevrolet Volt E-REV (Extended-Range Electric Vehicle) is a front-wheel-drive, four-seater car powered at all times by an electric motor. When fully charged, the lithium-ion battery pack provides a driving range of up to 60 km. During longer journeys, an E85-compatible gasoline engine is engaged as a range extender to generate electrical power. The unique aerodynamic design of the production car also helps to further improve fuel economy and driving performance. GM estimates that drivers covering 100 km a day can expect to save about 2,000 liters of gasoline annually, compared to using a similar size vehicle averaging 7.8 L/100 km.
