Classroom Guidelines:
- Respect my right to teach, yours and others’ right to learn, and the personal belongings of yourself and others! Life is full of choices, make yours good ones you can live with! If you choose not to follow the rules then there will be consequences
- Materials: You are expected to be prepared everyday!
- Please discuss any missed classes/assignments with the teacher AFTER class …NOT BEFORE!
- Homework needs to be done on the day assigned. .
- Participation: We will be speaking as much Spanish as possible in this class and doing many fun Spanish activities so be ready and willing to take chances and make mistakes! Spanish is super fun but you must participate to be successful!!
- Tests: I expect every student to get a passing grade on tests. If you receive an unsatisfactory grade on a test, you will be allowed to retake it. However, you will need to show me that you’ve learned from your mistakes beforehand. There is an application you will have to fill out along with additional required learning activities/opportunities.
- Academic Integrity: Being honest and a person of integrity is the EXPECTATION of ALL students. Any student caught cheating on projects or assessments will receive an instant 0% for a grade.

We will be learning about several cultures that are very different from our own, so please be open to learning and understanding these cultures instead of judging them. Don’t hesitate to ask questions or come see me for extra help!! I am looking forward to a great year with all of you! Yay for taking Spanish!!!!
