AMatanzais a tradition that dates back to the first American Rodeo in the 1600’s celebrated by American Cowboys known as the Spanish Vaqueros (master herdsman). These Rodeos took place on New Mexican soil over 220 years before Texas Easterners had even learned the “Art of the Vaquero”. The Vaqueros would tend the livestock throughout the year and every November round the livestock up to sell, brand and butcher; this is how the term “Rodeo” came to be. For Centuries our Ancestors have passed alongtreasured familyMatanzarecipes. Matanzas’sare a traditional Family and Community gathering event. Friends and Neighbors help in processing livestockand finish the celebration with a feast and of course, Music.APFMCSC, Show Starters Entertainers LLC and ABC Entertainers plus LLCis committed to pass this tradition on and help feed New Mexico.

New Mexico Arm Sports, presenting the 2014 Albuquerque Open Pro/Am Arm Wrestling Championships on Saturday Nov. 8th and Sunday Nov. 9th. $5,000.00 Cash & Awards!!!! This exciting event, a Official Affiliated Event of the Ultimate Arm Wrestling League and open to the public.Various weight classes for Professional, Amateur, Bikers, Police/Fire, Novice, and Kids/Teens. The Tournament will be double elimination, with awards for 1st and 2nd place in each division. There will be an Overall competition at the conclusion of the finals to determine the best Men and Women's Left and Right hand Champions. Participate or observe New Mexico's finest Arm Wrestlers compete against the best pullers in the region in this sanctionedArm Wrestling event.

Horseshoe Pitching Competition
