NIGHT VIGIL PROGRAMME FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL 2017

Important note: Let the prayer leaders kindly wait on the Lord and meditate deeply on the passages provided. The Lord will give you meat to make the prayer acceptable and edifying in Jesus’ name.

Plea for divine showers in the month of May– Numbers 6:22-27; Ezekiel 34:25-31

Focus: We need the Lord to go before us in the month of May. These promises will be fulfilled: we will see His hand in our programmes and lives. Let us pray for the rain of heaven, the light of His countenance. Also include the Youth Empowerment Programme that will be held in Amsterdam and Eindhoven.

“And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing” (Ezekiel 34:26).

Divine mobilisation for the National Conference– Isaiah 60:1-7

Focus: This year’s national conference will be an event to always remember! Our target is to get up to 250 souls there. Let us plead with God for miraculous mobilisation. Every hindrance should be removed and the people should register and pay this month. The deadline is 4 June. Let God’s people arise!

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising” (Isaiah 60:1,3).

“Lord, Revive us again!”– Psalm 44:1-8; 85:1-7

Focus: We want to see more of God in our lives and Churches. We need revival. Fervent hearts, vibrant lives. Passionate prayers, selfless service. Enlargement, expansion. Growth in grace, increase of joy.

“Wilt thou not revive us again:that thy people may rejoice in thee?Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation” (Psalm 85:6,7).

Supplication for brethren in need– Galatians 6:2; Hebrews 13:3; James 5:13-16

Focus: We will bear one another’s burden in this session. We are bringing before God the needs of our brethren: healing, deliverance, marital settlement, family challenges, work, career progress, ministerial advancement, total life fulfilment, peace and security. In addition, we can entertain specific requests.

“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ”(Galatians 6:2).

“Brethren, pray for us”– Ephesians 6:18-20; I Thessalonians 5:25; II Thessalonians 3:1,2

Focus: We will pray for the GS and his family and our leaders at various levels in The Netherlands. The emphasis is on strength, power, open door of ministry, preservation of life and total fruitfulness.

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19 and for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak” (Ephesians 6:18-20).

Personal prayer: “Lord, Give me another Pentecost!”– Ephesians 5:17-21; Jude 20-23

Focus: The believer is expected to be on fire through the Holy Ghost. This is time for personal plea to be filled or refilled with the Spirit. The outcome is fruitful ministry and a Spirit-controlled life.

“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit” (Ephesians 5:18).
