Mock Trial Final Project

“Creating your own Mock Trial”

Throughout the trimester we have worked on a variety of cases. Each time you performed a case you did a lot of preparation using the materials I provided for you of the cases. For this final project you and your group will be organizing all of the materials for your own mock trial case together that could be used by later mock trial students. Keep in mind that your creation of these materials is like what the legal team would do in the research and preparation phase of the trial process.

You may either use an episode of “Law and Order” as inspiration or you can create all of the materials for your case using your groups creativity.

Below is a list of requirements for your project to be created as a group:

1.  Cover page with title of case and a table of contents

2.  Case overview of stipulated facts involved in the case

3.  Charges and Defense

4.  List of Defense and Prosecution witnesses

5.  Witness statements provided by every witness

6.  Recreations of Evidence to be presented at trial

All projects are due by the beginning of the school day Monday March 19th!!
