Resolved: Received, Mr Mark Parry was co-opted as a member of the Council on the condition that there is no request by 10 electors for an election being received by 12 midnight. The Declaration of Acceptance of Office as a Parish Councillor was signed by Cllr Parry.
· Parish Council Web Site – To appoint someone to take over the management of the web site

971 ANY OTHER BUSINESS:
· Cllr Norton’s Retirement-Members and the Clerk wish to arrange a suitable occasion to enable them to acknowledge the valuable service provided by Cllr Norton
· The Clerk advised the Council that he would be retiring from his post at the September meeting
· The Chairman asked the Clerk to check on the situation regarding the itinerants parked at the old Sawley Crossroads
· John Norton advised the meeting that there were occasions of lamping being carried out on Hemington Park
· The Clerk was requested to have the plans regarding the stables on Church/Dark Lane, Hemington to be available at next months meeting
