ForPhDprograms,Englishproficiencyisrequired.

Thesupervisorchecksandevaluatestheapplicant’sacademicabilityaccordingtotheadmissionregulationsofUCASand/ortheinstitute.Twoorthreeexpertsmightbeinvitedtoconductaninterviewwiththeapplicantorawrittenexaminationwillbetakenifnecessary.Thesupervisorthenmakesadecisionaswhethertoacceptthestudentbymakingcommentsandsigningonthesupervisor’scommentpageintheadmissionapplicationformandsubmitallthenecessarydocumentstotheinstitute/faculty(Thesupervisor’scommentisalsoneededonthescholarshipapplicationform).

(3)Faculty/InstituteApproval

Theapplicationwillbereviewedbythefacultyorinstitutetodecidewhethertoaccepttheapplicants.Ifapproved,thefaculty/institutecompletesthecommentpageoftheadmissionapplicationformandsendsthestampedapplicationformalongwithalltheapplicationdocumentstoUCASInternationalStudentsOffice.

(4)UCASmakesthefinalreviewandpreparesadmissiondocuments

UCASpreparestheadmissionandvisaapplicationdocumentsforeligibleapplicantsafterfinalreview.Theoutcomesofevaluationmeetingsonscholarshipapplicationswillbeannouncedoncetheexpertpanelmakesthedecision.

3.VisaApplicationandAdmissionRegistration

UCASwillsendAdmissionNoticesandVisaApplicationformstotheadmittedstudents.Theadmittedstudentsshouldbringtheirpersonalpassport,AdmissionNotice,VisaApplicationForm(JW202/JW201),andoriginalFormofPhysicalExaminationRecordforForeignersaswellasotheroriginaldocumentsofphysicalexaminationtotheEmbassyorConsulateofthePeople'sRepublicofChina,andapplyforastudentvisa(X1/X2visa).AfterentrytoChina,studentsshouldregisterattheplaceindicatedontheAdmissionNoticewithintherequiredregistrationperiod.

4.2Scholarship

ChineseGovernmentScholarship
