(A) Construction:
a) Please provide a floor plan of the finished building.
Center of 5 villages is selected for Kharo Chhan Island school location i.e. Khati Muhalla, Abdullah Mallah, Sehta village, Ismail Khaskheli and Ameer Bux Ghuryani, as easy access to the children for every village. Due to having no individual land owner a Memorandum of Understanding MoU has been made with community about land acquisition for school, because there is no survey land in Kharo ChhanIsland with the revenue department, prevent from any unwanted situation and claims it made with the notables of these villages.
Wood, pelie sheets and ascorbic sheets have been used as constructionmaterial for School building in Kharo Chhan as per atmosphere conditions of the coastal area because moisture found in the area through out the year.
b) How many walls have been put up so far? Please attach photographs.
The composition of building is two rooms of 14X12X11” with 10X28courtyards. There are 7 walls of both rooms including 2 doors 6.5”X3.5” and 6 windows 3”X3”. The 3D views of school building have been given with this document.
c) Please attach invoices for any major purchases and salary payments.

Communication about teacher’s training has been initiated with Sindh Education Foundation-SEF and Actionaid Pakistan hopefully it will commence during next week.
(C) STUDENTS:mobilization for common people to get their children school in with the help and coordination of teachers and School Management Committee-SMC. A form has been developed with signature of father/guardian in this regard.

Background
Action for Humanitarian Development-AHD believes that without building capacity and participation of team you can’t ensure the transparency and accountability process. Clear objective and role and responsibilities are key component of implementation any program or project. Keeping the view of this an orientation over the introduction of project and role and responsibilities of individuals was taken placed.
The objective behind this to analyze the project and to identify the policies and procedures of organization role and responsibilities of staff;. Teachers were told that as per organ gram there are 3 major elements level through which project activities cycle;

- School Management Committee (SMC)
Defining roles & responsibilities teachers were told as
Organizations’ role:
Capacity Building through training sessions of stakeholders i.e. Teachers, School Management Committee- SMC and staff (Focal Person) for this project.
Plan the activities and execution and monitoring
Provide resources timely for achieving the objectives of the project.
Coordination with stakeholders community, line department and community based organization CBOs and school management committee-SMC
Monitoring the activities and measure progress of the project
Information and dissemination of progress to stakeholders and partner organization
Create more opportunities for future
Teacher’s role:
To take initiatives for increasing in enrolment
To motivate the parents and community to avail the opportunity
To mange the curriculum activities in the school
To conduct the co-curriculum activities to enhance the confidence of children
Plan the syllabus and schedule
Conduct tests and measure progress of children
Ensure the student’s and school hygiene
Formed School Management Committee and make active for maximum support for school
Conduct meetings with SMC and make minutes
Make coordination amongst the SMC and organization
Generate progress reports and share with organization management
To participate in trainings and meetings
School Management Committee’s role:
Get involve in the school matters
To make support for school improvement
Conduct meetings and make productive decision making to promote education in the area
To support the teachers in case of any challenges in community
Monitoring the curriculum activities and make suggestions for productive outputs
Develop linkages with line department and stakeholders for possible support
Make coordination with organization
