2013 Football season is about to begin – we have been waiting for this moment, when Sydney play the first game of the season!!! Whoopeee!!!
We do not meet for the NAB Cup but I know everyone will be watching these games:-

The Swans are getting their first taste of competitive football for 2013 at Blacktown International Sports Park Sydney on February 24th.

FOOTY TIPPING COMPETITION
We are sorry to advise that we are not holding a Footy Tipping Competition this Season.
MERCHANDISE
We will be bringing some merchandise to our first meeting to be held on Saturday 30th March, so if you need anything please look through what we have on this day. We will also bring some “Premiership” merchandise with us as well. There will be some items discounted, so you will have to get in quick.
If there is anything you would like us to order for you, do not hesitate to let us know, so I can organize before our first meeting.
ARCHIVES – The Infinity Club
A framed collection of 1933 Cigarette cards was found by a supporter in a garage sale in Adelaide and which we passed onto the Swans. A big “thank you” to Kaj Christiansen.

Don and I have made arrangements to hold our first gathering to meet each other at the first round of the 2013 season when the Swans play GWS on Saturday 30th March, 2013.
We have made arrangements to have the venue at the same place as last Season, where they are willing for us to come and watch the Swans games on TV, and to have a meal (if you require) and drinks. A big “thank you” to Danielle Milligan of the W.A.F.C. for her support.

DONATION
SA Sydney Swans Supporters donated $1,000.00 to the Sydney Swans Foundation, and we received a “Thank you” letter from Tony Morwood, General Manager, Sydney Swans Foundation. Thank you to all who have supported this donation by entering our raffles, etc. so we could do this.

ROUND 5 - NEW ZEALAND GAME HELD ON ANZAC DAY 25TH APRIL, 2013 – St Kilda v Swans
Saints are in Wellington at the moment to promote their historic Anzac Day match against Sydney.
There has been 800 tickets sold already to go to this game to be held at the Westpac Stadium in WELLINGTON, New Zealand. Tickets went on sale last Wednesday 23rd January. Emails were sent out from Swans Office to all members advising them of this. Don & I are going to this game, and making a holiday of this to look around New Zealand.
If you are interested in going to this game, please get on the Swans website and book your tickets.
Take into consideration that you have to also book Flights and Accommodation, so get in early so you will not be disappointed.

Relive the excitement of winning the 2012 Grand Final.
Our boys done well in gaining a Premiership last Season 2012, so let us hope we make it back to back in 2013.
In closing we hope to see you all at our first meeting on Saturday 30th March.
