Prequalification of :

AllGeneral Contractors,Subcontractors, Trades , Facility Service Providers

Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation is embarking on a new program to prequalify all current and potential Contractors interested in providing proposals for construction and facilities service requirements.

In respect to various ongoing projects and facility maintenance at HHS facilities:

McMasterUniversity Medical Centre (MUMC),

Hamilton General Hospital,

Juravinski Cancer Centre and Hospital (formallyknown as Henderson Hospital)

Chedoke Hospital,

St Peters Hospital,

Submissions are to be hand delivered in a sealed envelope. There is no deadline and these may be submitted on a go forward basis. Proponent must submit one (1) original signed by an authorized representative (prominently marked “Original”) and one (1) electronic copy on CD or USB Storage Device of its proposal in a sealed package. Faxed or email submissions will not be accepted

Interested contractors with significant experience and expertise in hospital projects of a similar nature are invited to apply for prequalification in respect of the various facility maintenance and misc projects.

Approved proponents will have the opportunity to submit proposals to competitive bid requests for a term is for 4 years

Firms selected as a result of the prequalification process will be so advised and it is intended that only prequalified firms will be included in various invitations to bid on work at HHS. Short-listed firms may be asked to attend an interview at a date following selection.

Vendor Of Record Agreements (VOR) – for facility and construction projects less than $100,000

VariousRFP requirements –HHSrenovation and facilities requirements greater than $100,000.

All projects are subject to tender approval of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.

Submission shall include a letter authorizing HHS Owner, ConstructionManager and Consultants to verify contents of submissions,including contacting references from projects listed in theapplication. References may be contacted by phone, email or fax.

Hamilton Health Sciences reserves the right to select only those proponents which are deemed suitable and qualified to undertake HHS requirements. The Prequalification process does not constitute any obligation on the part of Hamilton Health Sciences to prequalify and enter into a contract with any proponent. Only the proponents deemed qualified to perform HHS requirementswill receive bid documents at a later date. Hamilton Health Sciences reserves the right to reject any or all submissions.
