**THANKSGIVING SERVICE Wednesday 19th October, Priordy Chapel, Carmarthen, 7pm, doors open 6pm, Join the WI choir and WI members with an address by Rev. Beti Wyn James, cost £3, tickets enclosed for those who have booked, members parading their WI banners meet by the door or the vestry by 6.45pm. ** CARDIFFMUSEUM – Wednesday 16th November a chance to see “Quentin Blake: Inside Stories”, most important and best loved illustrators, unique insight into some of his most popular drawings. Morning speaker Janice Langley, NFWI Chairman and in the afternoon the well known Alex Jones, a TV presenter with ‘One Show’. Tickets are £8 each, light refreshments for sale provided by a WI will be available at the hall, at the start and lunch time. We hope each group will bring a Christmas tree and decorate on the night,
Celebrate Christmas with WI members from every group, there will be a
varietyof Christmas themed stalls, entry £2 to include a cup of tea & cake.

**CAROL SERVICE Friday 9th Dec. at Christchurch, Carmarthen, 7pm, cost £5, come and join us to get into the festive spirit with carols, readings and individual items. Following the carols join us in the Vestry for mulled wine/non alcoholic punch and mince pies/shortbread. Tickets exchanged for a programme on the night. Return form by 25th October.
** LONDON WEEK-END – Fri. 13th to Sun. 15th January 2017. Form enclosed for final payment of £109, extra single supplement of £69. Please send money with form by 25th October.
** COUNTY RAFFLE – if you have not yet received then please collect at the Group meetings, try and sell all the books you have had, it does help to offset costs in running events and the office. Return money and counterfoils by 23rd November, drawn at a Coffee Morning on the 14th December at the WI Office.

**ANNUAL FORM giving information on your officers – please return after your Annual Meeting so we can produce our yearbook in good time. On the second page there are a few more columns to be answered, the added information will be available at the office to help you with speakers.
** COUNTYSUB-COMMITTEE – if you would like to be considered for any of the sub-committees please fill in the enclosed form. We are always looking for new faces and new ideas to present a variety of activities. If you would like to know more about the work they undertake please ring the office. Closing date 25th October or meet the members of the committees at the Annual Meeting in Johnstown.
MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION for 2017 will be £39.00, an increase of £1.50 equates to an extra £1.00 for the WI to keep (£19.00), extra 40p to Federation (£8.80) and an extra 10p to NFWI (£11.20). Dual members pay £19.00 to their second WI which they keep.
