DATE: Friday 21st April 2017- Term 2 – week 2– Greaves Reserve, Bennet St, Dandenong

TIME: Registration - 9.00a.m. – for rules, singles draws
ADMISSION: All Competitors- nil charge
Singles matches will be played to determine best 2 singles boys and 2 singles girls players to represent the Greater Dandenong Division at the Southern Metropolitan Region finals.
Players who win their match will advance to the next round until the top 2 boys and top 2 girls have won their way through.
Greater Dandenong Division tennis matches and finals -9.30 to 12.30p.m. –subject to number of competitors and completion of matches.
Singles matches to play to 6 with tie break at 5 all. All games with sudden death deuce format- receiver to choose side.
Draw to be determined by number of entries.
Officials/Coaching: / Children are to umpire and call lines of their own matches. If there is a dispute that cannot be resolved the court supervisor/referee can be called onto the court to resolve the problem.No coaching is allowed during any match.
Parents and players are reminded of the Code of Conduct that applies at all School Sport Victoria events.
Dress: / Competitors must be dressed in their school sports uniform or in neat tennis clothing. Tracksuits may not be worn during play. Board shorts (surf shorts) are not acceptable. Shirts with designs, large manufacturer’s logos or advertising are not acceptable. Tennis shoes with flat tread must be worn.
Equipment to Bring: / Each player to provide their personal equipment.
Approved Tennis Balls. (These will be supplied)
Girls Division - / Top 2 singles players through to Region finals.
Boys Division - / Top 2 singles players through to Region finals.
