French Crepes

Ingredients

2 cups flour

4 eggs

1 cup milk

1 cup water

½ tsp. salt

½ tsp sugar

1 tsp. vanilla extract

4 Tbs. melted butter

Directions

1.  Add eggs, butter, heavy cream, salt, water. Blend until completely combined. Add the flour and blend until combined.

2.  Turn on the crepe maker and wait until it becomes hot. While you are waiting, prepare several sheets of waxed paper by cutting them into pieces large enough to separate the crepes.

3.  Once crepe maker is hot, pour the batter into the holding dish and dip the black piece of the crepe maker into the batter. Make sure that the entire black surface is covered with batter.

4.  Allow the crepe to cook full and then slide the crepe onto a piece of wax paper, lying flat and then place another piece of wax paper onto to separate the crepes.

5.  Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the batter is finished.

Vanilla Pastry Cream and Strawberries

Step One: Make vanilla pudding according to the directions.

Step Two: Make whipped cream

Whipped Cream

Ingredients

2 cups of whipping cream

1 pinch of salt

1 Tbs. vanilla extract

¼ cup powdered sugar

Directions:

Put all the ingredients into a bowl.

Using a hand mixer begin to whip on low speed.

As the cream thickens you can increase the speed to high.

Do not over whip, stop when the cream looks like whipped cream.

Step Three: Cover the whipped cream and vanilla pudding with plastic wrap and put in the fridge.

Step Four: Wash and cut up strawberries then put them in the fridge in a container.

Step Five: (To be completed the next day) fold the vanilla pudding and the whipped cream together until combined.
