For The Win Racing, LLC is the sole promoter of the FRONT RUNNER ® Century and has sole control of the planning, routing and conditions associated with the bicycle ride event (the “Event”). The Utah Transit Authority (the “UTA”) has no control over the planning, routing, conditions or any other aspect of the Event and use of the term “FRONT RUNNER ®” is not an endorsement of the Event by UTA.
By signing below, I understand that this FRONT RUNNER ® bicycle ride presented by FOR THE WIN RACING (FTWR) ride involves riding as part of a group on public streets where hazards exist. I acknowledge that cycling is an inherently dangerous sport and fully realize the dangers of participating in a group bicycle ride and FULLY ASSUME THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH PARTICIPATION INCLUDING, by way of example, and not limitation, the following: the dangers of collision with pedestrians, vehicles, other riders, and fixed or moving objects; the dangers arising from surface hazards, equipment failure, inadequate safety equipment, FTWR’S OWN NEGLIGENCE, and weather conditions; and the possibility of serious physical and/or mental trauma or injury associated with cycling.
For myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, assignees, and successors in interest (collectively “Successors”) I HEREBY WAIVE, RELEASE, DISCHARGE, HOLD HARMLESS, AND PROMISE TO INDEMNIFY AND NOT SUE the FTWR, its agents, officers, directors, employees, and members, the sponsors of this event, the organizer and any promoting organizations, and their respective agents, officials and employees through or by which the events will be held, (the foregoing are collectively deemed to be “Releasees”), for any claims INCLUDING CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE RELEASEES’ OWN NEGLIGENCE, which I have or which may hereafter accrue to me or my bicycle and from any and all damages which may be sustained by me or my bicycle directly or indirectly in connection with, or arising out of, my participation in or association with this ride, or travel to or return from this ride.
I agree it is my sole responsibility to be familiar with the ride route, the Releasee’s rules, and any special regulations for the ride. I understand and agree that I must continually ride so as to neither endanger others nor myself. I understand this is a non-competitive event and that RACING IS NOT ALLOWED. I accept responsibility for the condition and adequacy of my equipment. Wearing a helmet can save your life and reduce injury. Should you choose not to wear a helmet you will no longer be considered a participant of this event and will be asked to leave the ride. During the ride I will wear an ANSI, SNELL or ASTM certified helmet that can protect against serious head injury, and assume all responsibility and liability for the selection of such a helmet. I have no physical or medical condition, which to my knowledge, would endanger others or myself if I participate in this event, or would interfere with my ability to participate in this ride.

The undersigned parent or guardian of the above Participant who is under the age of 18 agrees to assume full responsibility for said minor’s acts and behavior during the ride and for said minor’s full compliance with the terms and conditions of the above waiver and release.
