Activities:
-To contract a Consultant to audit and recommend EE lighting for the police station.
-To procure and install EE lighting through an ESCO.

The main objective is to increase the energy efficiency and overall sustainabilitywith relevance to lighting by introducing LED technology at the Vieux Fort Police Station. As one of the recently renovated police stations in St. Lucia, the Government has taken a keen interest in decreasing its energy consumption for such public buildings using the Vieux Fort Police Station as its pilot government owned building for monitoring and retrofit.
Objectives:
-Monitor the all energy usage at this government building for a period of one (1) year to attain all necessary baseline data for a comprehensive energy audit.
-Replace existing lights with LED lighting technology.
-Recommend minimum energy performance standards for a typical police station building in Saint Lucia.
-Monitor the energy usage of the LED lights as it compares the baseline and the reductions achieved in energy consumption for a period of 0ne (1) year.
-Create a maintenance programme specifically for this police station and document while implementing this programme.
-Sensitise key personnel in the best energy efficiency practices while highlighting areas where other energy efficient recommendations can be given to further reduce the usage at this facility.
-Raise awareness of various EE technologies and impact of climate change.
Activities:
-NC to contract a suitable Consultant to assess the lighting at the Vieux Fort Police Station.
-Recommended LED lighting and other material to be procured through an ESCO.
