Thurs., May 12 – Early dismissal at 11:20am
Fri., May 13 – Mrs. Hunter-Butler’s Gr. 2/3 Family Luncheon at noon. Free will offering. No hot lunch or lunch snacks available for other grades. Recess snacks will be for sale.
Mon., May 16 – Jump Rope for Heart – Students will skip on Monday! Fundraising money and forms must be in by Friday, May 20.
Tues., May 17 – Gr. 5 & 6 Transition visit to WHMS. Students will be bussed. Permission forms were sent home. Please return by Friday, May 13.
Open House at WHMS for Gr. 5 & 6 students with their parents from 6:30 – 7:30 pm.
Wed., May 18 – SPRING FLING – 5:30 – 7:30 pm – Letter today being sent home! Look for it! Get your tickets to sell for the great prizes – Tablet, scooter, day camp pass. Tickets and money must be in the night of Spring Fling as we will be drawing that night. Tickets will be on sale that evening too!
Thurs., May 19 – Gr. 5 & 6 students invited to West Hants Middle School Dance – 7:00 – 9:00 pm
Tickets will be given out Thursday to students. Students must be in school that day to attend dance.
Mon., May 23 – No School – Victoria Day holiday
Tues., May 24 – Spring Concert/Dance Festival – 1:00 and 7:00 PM – This year we are combining the Spring Concert and Dance Festival.Families will be given 3 GREEN tickets for the afternoon performance and 3 BLUE tickets for the eveningperformance. Tickets will be sent home with the youngest student in your family on Monday, May 16th.
Thurs., May 26 – Primary Registration for students starting primary in September 2016. No school for Mrs. Rathbun’s Gr. P/1 students only. Regular day for all other classes.
Fri., May 27 – Primary Orientation for students starting primary in September 2016. No School for Mrs. Rathbun’s Gr. P/1 students only. Regular day for all other classes.
Fri., May 27 – Mrs. Clark’s Gr. 4/5 Family Luncheon at noon. Free will offering.No hot lunch or lunch snacks available for other grades. Recess snacks will be for sale.
Mon., May 30 – Gr. 5 Transition Field Day at Avon View High School. Students will be bussed. Permission forms will be sent home.
Tues., May 31 – Gr. 6 Transition Field Day at Avon View High School. Students will be bussed. – Permission forms will be sent home.
Thurs., June 2 – Mrs. Redden’s Gr. 5/6 Family Luncheon at noon. Free Will offering.No hot lunch or lunch snacks available for other grades. Recess snacks will be for sale.
Fri., June 3 – Gr. 5 and 6 students will travel by bus to WHMS for the Grade 9 Expo in the morning. Permission forms will be sent home.
