Adding Flashcards using Photos on an iPod

*** If you have a folder that you use to sync/add photos to your iPod then make sure you know where it is located on your computer.

*** If you don’t have the folder stated above you will need to create one. The best place is in your iPod folder (if you have one) OR in you’re My Documents folder. To do this:

Double Click you’re “My Documents”OR “iPod” folder

Go to the file menu and choose new

Move over to New Folder

This will create a new folder in you’re “My Documents” folder

You need to now rename this to ipod-photos

- it will look like this before you name it

Type in: ipod-photos

Press enter to complete the renaming process

Double click folder called: keyboarding-flashcards.zip

It will open the folder and display files inside, then you need to go to
“File” Menu and select “Extract All”

Click Next

Enter directory by clicking browse

-Find the folder from step one (ipod-photos or whatever you already use for ipod photos)

-Click on Make New Folder and name it something to identify the files. (for example, keyboarding vocab)

-Click Ok

Click Next

Click Finish

Plug your iPod into USB cable ------iTunes may or may not open on its own, if it does not, you will need to open it.

After your iPod loads…..under “Devices” on the left side click on the
actual iPod name.

Click on the photos tab at the top of the screen

If you sync photos already / If you DO NOT sync photos already
If you already sync pictures with your iPod and you followed the directions to “extract all” into the folder you already use for these photos….your iPod will automatically have them ready for syncing.
Simply press the “APPLY” button in the bottom right corner. / 1. Check the box that says: “Sync Photos from:”
2. Browse to the location of your photos. This is the folder/location you used earlier, either in My Documents or iPod. There ‘SHOULD’ be a folder that you created for these cards, such as: keyboardin vocab.
3. Press “APPLY” button in the bottom right corner.
****If may take a few minutes to finish syncing the photos with the iPod.****

Let the iPod sync and convert all photos before ejecting/disconnecting. When it’s finished you

can view these Flashcards just like any other photo in the “Photos” section of your iPod.

** make sure in your “Photo Settings”….turn off “Shuffle”!!**
