This course is an introduction to basic principles and methods for analysis and design of hydraulic engineering and to practice problem solving in pipelines, pipe networks, water hammer phenomenon, water pumps, open channel flow, Hydraulic structures, hydraulic modeling, and water network design

1. To give students a basic understanding of flow systems in closed and open hydraulic systems,
2. To provide detail computation for studying, analyzing and design of hydraulic systems,
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
At the end of this course, the student will be able to demonstrate ability in the following areas:
1. Basic understanding of hydraulic systems.
2. Basic knowledge of computing various hydraulic components,
3. Basic knowledge of analyzing and design of hydraulic structures.
