INSTRUCTIONS:
Sign and return one copy to A Walking Horse Ranch.
Enclose non-refundable booking fee with contract, payable to Triple M Stables, LLC.
Enclose copy (s) of allmares’ reg. papers (front & back) if registered.
Fill out and return mare information form.
Once the Stallion Owner has accepted and executed the breeding contract, a copy will be sent to you. At the time the mare is delivered to Double Nickel Horse Ranch for breeding, the following must accompany the mare:
Current (within 12 months) Negative Coggins test
A Negative Uterine Culture
A current Worming and Immunization record
Breeding Fee Options: For 2009
Nonrefundable booking fee: $100.00, down payment against Breeding Fee. Balance of $400 due when mare pronounced in foal. Total BREEDING FEE: $500.00.

BREEDING CONTRACT FOR LIVE COVERAGE
Mare Owner understands and agrees the mare(s) shall be in healthy breeding condition and that each mare shall have proof of a negative uterine culture, negative coggins, photocopies of both sides of all mare’s registration papers( if mare is registered).Failure to furnish this will automatically authorize the stallion owner to have mare(s) examined by a licensed veterinarian at the expense of the mare(s) owner.
Mares that are not halter broke will not be accepted.
The mare owner agrees that the Stallion owner, manager or any staff will not be responsible for accident, sickness, injury, or death to the above stated mare or to any foal. It is also understood the mare owner will not be responsible for any disease, accident or injury to the Stallion.
Mare owner understands and agrees that should the Stallion die or become unfit for breeding as determined by a licensed veterinarian, this contract becomes null and void. Absolutely no refunds under any circumstances.
Mare owner shall pay the breeding fee in the amount of $500.00. A non-refundable booking fee of $100.00 which is payable upon execution of this agreement. The balance of the breeding fee, $400.00 must be paid when mare is pronounced in foal. All mare care fees and expenses shall be paid to Double Nickel Horse Ranch. If the breeding fee is not paid, the stallion owner reserves a right to assert a breeder’s lien. All costs incurred in collecting delinquent charges shall be the responsibility of the mare owner. These costs are including, but are not limited to the following: court costs, attorneys fees, skip tracing, etc.
The stallion owner guarantees a live foal from the breeding contract: Live foal as defined as a foal that stands and nurses. Should the mare prove not be in foal, aborts her foal, or the foal is stillborn, mare owner shall notify the stallion owner within 7 days of foaling or the date the mare is proved not to be in foal or loses her foal. A written statement form a licensed veterinarian verifying that the mare has slipped or produced a nonviable foal must be sent to the stallion owner.
This guarantee means the stallion owner shall give the mare owner a free season to the stallion the following year only, subject to the stallion being alive, able to breed and still owned by the stallion owner. The mare owner will be subject to mare care and expenses for any rebreeding.
In the event the mare aborts, the mare owner shall certify to the stallion owner that the mare was accurately and properly administered vaccines to prevent the mare from aborting: such as booster rhinopneumonitis vaccinations administered as indicated by the individual drug manufacturer.
Mare owner acknowledges that the breeder STRONGLY recommend pregnancy checks via ultra-sound at 17 days, and by palpation at 45-60 days. Breeder strongly recommends Rhino vaccinations at 5-7-9 months, plus normal vaccinations appropriate for the mare’s locale.
Insurance of the mare is strongly recommended.
The breeder will not be held responsible for any mare not conceiving or aborting during pregnancy.This contract may be assignable and transferable upon approval from Triple M stables, LLC, stallion owner.
COLOR GUARANTEE: Stallion owner guarantees a color foal. If the foal from this breeding is not of color (i.e.: cremello, perlino, palomino, champagne, smoky cream, buckskin, or a combination of white with any of the above), than the contract mare, or a substitute mare may be booked the following year at no additional stud fee. All other fees associated with the breeding of the mare, boarding, shipping, collection, veterinarian fees, etc are the responsibility of the mare owner.
Smoky Black Foal Guarantee: If your mare produces a smoky black foal, you have the following options; ((1)) FULL REFUND of stud fee only and FREE REBREED to the mare of your choice IN EXCHANGE for the smoky black foal at weaning to Triple M Stables, LLC. Rebreed is available up to one year from the date of the birth of the foal.

((2)) Mare owner keeps the smoky black foal and still receives a FREE REBREED only, allowed up to one year from the date of birth of the foal. Again, all other fees, veterinarian, collection, shipping, mare care, boarding, etc are the responsibility of the mare owner.
Owners of UNREGISTERED mares must pay the stud fee in full up front, which qualifies the mare owner for a 20% discount. Registration papers for the foal (whose dam is registered) will not be signed by the stallion owner until the stud fee is paid in full.
