Appointment and Payment Conditions For Part Time Academic Lectures Are Subjected To Regulations as Follows: -
a)Payment only eligible to appointed Temporary Lecturer to deliver academic lectures in a field of study to students.
b)Part-time Lecturers shall be appointed from among qualified External Lecturers. Appointments can be made from among public sector employees with the necessary academic qualifications to deliver academic lectures outside of office hours and do not affect the official duties of the officer.
c)External lecturers / officers appointed as Part-time Lecturers require the approval of the Head of Department and they are also required to submit a report to the Head of the Department in relation to payments received as Temporary Academic Staff
d)There post vacancies exist due to the incumbent lecturer on leave for a prolonged period such as sabbatical, on maternity, study or on leave to perform the Haj.
e)Post vacancies for lecturer or the incumbent for a prolonged period and not covered by a part time lecturer or another appointed staff.
f)Task as a Part Time Lecturer is considered as additional duties besides from their core duty posts.
