There WILLbe an official measurer. Exhibitor Paul Mount will be ourVMO for this trial! If the “Will dog need to be measured?” says YES, you will need to have a valid permanent height card, valid temporary measurement slip or you will need to be measured by the VMO.DO NOT RISK A Q – GET MEASURED BEFORE RUNNING. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to get their dog measured and to know the jump height card rules. AKC will check this data and you will lose a Q if you do not get measured before your run.

Measuring of dogs is always done throughout the day based on availability. If you need to run before he arrives, you will need to be measured by one of the judges.

For those with conflicts, you are asked to please walk the courses with an EARLIER height group if the conflict would mean you can’t walk with your height class. You can also run at the end of the earlier height group or at the beginning of your height group instead of at the end. We realize that handlers with multiple dogs will have some conflicts. Please be sure and mark and/or notify the Gate stewards in if your conflict is in the Exc rings that you have a possible conflict.

Please do not mark a conflict in the Novice, Open, or T2B classes – they take precedence over the Exc classes

TRIAL SITE RULES

The club will be charged if anyone arrives at The SportsPlex prior to 6 am the day of the event. Anyone who arrives on site prior to this time will be asked to leave the show site.

NO CHAIRS Permitted or ALLOWED IN THE CRATING AREA
NO DOGS ALLOWED TO “POTTY” IN THE BUILDING. Failure to observe this rule is subject to a bench hearing and immediate excusal from the trial for the balance of the trial days.
NO DOGS OFF LEASH INSIDE OR OUTSIDEexcept in the ring or practice jump areas.
No x-pens in crating area unless approved by the trial chair.
PARKING: Loading and unloading ONLY in front of the main entrance. Do not leave your vehicle unattended in the loading and unloading area. No Parking in this area. All vehicles must be parked in designated areas. Vehicles not in compliance with parking rules will be towed away at the owner’s expense.
Limited Handicapped car/van parking. Please arrive early to obtain a spot.
Please be considerate of the public restrooms. Trash cans are placed there for proper disposal of paper products.
SORRY – Dogs are not allowed in any restrooms at any time. Please crate your dog or have someone hold your dog for you while using the restroom.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO CLEAN UP AFTER YOR DOG. Please carry the appropriate supplies and keep the trial site clean. Please potty your dogs in designated areas only. Signs for designated areas will be posted at the trial.
Hotels: Dogs should not be left unattended in the hotel. Reports of barking dogs left unattended in the hotel OR OTHER BEHAVIOR DEEMED INAPPROPRIATE BY THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT MAY be subject to a bench hearing. You must clean up after your dogs at the hotel.
RVs will not be allowed to park at this trial site due to limited parking.
