Dear parents / guardians

On Tuesday 22nd March we will be kicking off our Easter celebrations with an Easter art / craft morning, all students from K-6 will be involved in a variety of Easter craft and art activities in their classrooms.

One craft item from each student in K-2 will be on sale for $1 after the Easter Hat Parade. All money made from the sale of the craft will go towards buying chickens for a village in Zimbabwe. We appreciate you supporting this charity.

The fun really kicks off after lunch. We will be having our traditional Easter Hat Parade, starting at 12pm. Years 3-6 have been invited to come and cheer on our junior classes or they are welcome to make a hat and join in the fun of the parade. After the Easter Hat Parade we will be drawing the Easter Raffle and K-2 will be selling their Easter craft.

Parents are then invited to have a picnic afternoon tea with their children on the grass.

K-2 students, and any interested 3-6 students are required to make their own Easter Hats at home. Please have them bring their hats to school on Monday 21st March.

This will also be an out of uniform day for all students K-6.

We ask that no egg products be used in the making of any Easter hats, no egg cartons or egg shells. We have a child at school who is highly allergic to all egg products and anything that egg has come in contact with. We appreciate your help and understanding.

·  We are asking for Easter Eggs to be donated towards the raffle to raise money to purchase new home readers for our school.

If you are donating Easter Eggs to the raffle, please leave them at the front office.

·  Every child from year K-6 is required to bring in $3 which will help buy craft for our Easter craft morning. Please bring this money straight to your class teacher in a clearly marked envelope.

·  All raffle tickets and raffle ticket money can be taken straight to the office and posted in the door.

Please feel free to contact Mrs Forrester or Mrs Kelly if you have any questions.
