Welcome Back!

This is a newsletter of the Environmental Education Committee, a subcommittee of the Daves CreekPTA. Our group works with parents, teachers, local businesses, and county organizations to promote environmental education and awareness to our children.

We have worked on many beautification projects at our school– including the courtyards (Shapes & Colors and Woodlands) and outdoor classroom. We also have worked on many recycling projects throughout our school – educating staff and students in reclaiming our resources, including the creation of the Daves Creek Green Team.

Interested in getting involved with our environmental efforts? If so, contact PTAEnvironmental Ed Chair & Green Team Coordinator, Denise Carleton at carleton. or Recycling Coordinator, Lisa LaFayette at .
