In the last few years we have expanded the coverage available in our EIRIS Portfolio Manager software product to approximately 3000 companies across the developed world.

EIRIS’headquarters is in London with a subsidiary in BostonMA and a branch in Paris. EIRIS Ltd is a not-for-profit subsidiary of the EIRIS Foundation, registered as a charity in the UK.The company employs 60 staff worldwide and has a turnover of over £3m.

We are looking for a Financial Controllerwith strong book-keeping, accounting and financial planning skills tobe responsible for the day to day financial management of the group . Reporting to the Executive Director, you will be a member of the Senior Management Team and provide both SMT and the Board with financial planning information and advice.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CA) with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience, or AAT qualified with 5 years’experience and working towards qualifying as an accountant. You will be ready to combine budget planning and forecasting with a share of the day to day book-keeping and general finance work (assisted by an experienced Finance Administrator). You will have demonstrable success in managing the finance function of an organisation (or a significant part of an organisation) with a turnover of more than £1m. You will have led the preparation of year end accounts for audit and be used to managing staff in a finance environment.

Competent written and spoken French, and experience of accountancy for overseas branches or subsidiaries will be an advantage. You will have a basic understanding of the field of responsible investment and be committed to the work EIRIS does. Applications from people wanting to work part-time will be considered.
