Competition Checklist

Required:

ü  Jersey

ü  Black Jazz Pants (Cut or taped up so you can’t step on the back heel)

ü  Black Leotard

ü  Black Jazz Shoes

ü  Make up – Dark brown or black eyeliner (for lower eye-lashes) and mascara

Whatever cover-up/powder you use

Natural color blush (so you aren’t washed out – exact color doesn’t matter)

ü  Competition Song on a CD and/or on ipod (I will send the final version)

ü  Bobby pins!!

ü  Black Pony tail holders

ü  Small clear rubber-bands for French braids (maybe go in on a pack with others)

ü  Mirror!

ü  Hair spray

ü  Comb/brush

Suggested:

ü  Money (for food, clothes: invitational t’s - $15)

ü  Camera

ü  Lotion

ü  Nail file & clipper

ü  Safety Pins

ü  Straighteners

ü  Ipod

ü  Ipod player

ü  Homework/something to do during downtime

Competition Procedures

·  Be on time – arrive at LHS by 6:45am!

·  Wear warm-ups and competition t-shirts

·  NO jewelry!

·  No nail polish

·  All nails clipped short

·  Hair clean and dry (straight)

·  Only foundation to start

·  Get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast J
