MAJOR BILLY W. CLARK
Major Clark is the Regional Director for Admissions (RDA) for the Northeast United States and for the European and African AOR. He leads all Air Force ROTC recruiting activities and high school scholarship programs for New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, and Rhode Island. As the RDA, he trains and manages a joint recruiting team consisting of 17 Recruiting Flight Commanders, 150 United States Air Force Academy Liaison Officers, and 3 Air Force Recruiting Service Squadrons. Furthermore, he maintains direct contact with community leaders and key educators supporting all of the high schools and universities in the Northeast United States.
Additionally, he is an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies for Detachment 560 located at Manhattan College, New York. Major Clark is responsible for instructing, training, supervising, evaluating, and facilitating the performance of over 50 cadets enrolled in AFROTC in the New York City metro area. As instructor of the AS100 class, he is responsible for instructing students on the foundations of the U.S. Air Force in an academic setting and overseeing cadets during Leadership Laboratory.
Major Clark was born in Waco, Texas and is a 1992 graduate of Waco High School. He enlisted into the Air Force in July 1992. He received hiscommissionin December 1999 from the University of Texas at San Antonio’s AFROTC Detachment 842. His enlisted background includes various duties in the medical field. He is a rated officer, anAir Battle Manager with experience at the flight, squadron, and numbered Air Force level. He has served as a Flight Commander, Assistant Director of Operations, Director of Operations, Senior Director, and Mission Crew Commander in peacetime and combat. He is married to Bridgette Clark also of Waco, Texas.
