We are still receiving monetary gifts towards the Bringing Home the Bacon ELCA World Hunger project. So far we have raised enough to purchase 28 pigs at a cost of $30/pig. THANK YOU!

The Annual Meeting will be held today at 9:30 a.m.. Copies of the annual report are in your mailboxes. Sunne Lutheran Youth (Seattle Group) will be serving pancakes and sausage between services. A freewill offering will be received. Proceeds will be used towards the 2016 Seattle Faith Adventure. Come and enjoy pancakes and sausage and the annual meeting!

Sunne’s Capital Campaign continues to receive commitments and gifts. Currently we have received $97,525 in gifts and commitments. If you would like to be part of this effort to pay off our building loan, gifts can be given by making checks payable to Sunne and writing “capital campaign” in the memo line or on the offering envelope. Thank you for the tremendous response!

Next Sunday is Souper Bowl Sunday across the US. Following both worship services Confirmation students will be in the narthex receive special offerings to benefit the Wilton Food Pantry. This is the 21st year that we have participated in this national event. Last year over $8 million was raised across the country.

Ash Wednesday (February 10th) worship services will be held at 7:30 pm at Sunne. Please mark your calendars. All confirmation students are required to be in worship on Ash Wednesday.
