CBI Next Generation Leadership Programme2018/19 – Application Process

Programme dates and locations

The CBI Next Generation Leadership Programme (NextGen) is delivered in 5 modules over eight days. The NextGenProgramme will run once in 2018, with exact dates and final locations to be confirmed as soon as possible. The planned dates are currently proposed as follows:

Building your influence with local stakeholders / 2 days / A UK region / w/c 11 March 2019
Business led solutions to societal challenges / 1 day / London / w/c 1 April 2019

Cost

The 2018/19 programme has a special introductory price for participation this year of £4,000 (excluding VAT, travel and accommodation costs). An additional discount is available for smaller companies.

Deadline for applications and selection process:

  • The deadline for initial applications is close of play Friday 27 July 2018.
  • We ask that candidates have the approval of their Line Manager and/or Business unit leader, and have secured budget approval, prior to application.
  • Once we receive an application this will be reviewed to check candidate suitability. There will then follow a shorttelephone interview with our Head of Leadership Programmes.
  • Decisions on applications for NextGen will be made by aselection panel of CBI senior leaders, who will consider all short listedapplications together and select a peer group of approximately 20 participants, with an appropriate mix of background, organisations and diversity.
  • We will confirm the outcome of your application by the end of August 2018, ready for the programme commencement in late September.
