Call for Papers

The 2014 Annual Conference of China Marketing Science will be hosted by School of Management at Xiamen University Xiamen, and co-sponsored by National Natural Science of China, American Marketing Association and Higher School Teaching Steering Committee of Major of Management (Ministry of Education). The conference is preceded by the Journal of Marketing Science Doctoral Consortium (for doctoral students only).The Conference will be held in Xiamen on Nov.15-16, 2014. The theme of this year’s conference is “SustainableMarketing: Theory and Practices”. This conference willbring together top researchers in marketing and related areas within China and around the world to present cutting-edge research and exchange intellectual ideas.

The conference will provide a platform for researchers to create a stronger academic atmosphere, exchange academic ideas, present research achievements and improve the research level. We are pleased to invite all related academic scholars to join this conference, and call for the papers based on the conference theme. The papers passing the blind peer review process will be presented (Oral Presentation or Poster) in the conference. Meanwhile, the Best Paper will be recommended to be published in the JMS Journal.

In addition, the conference will hold Doctoral Consortium on Nov.14, 2014, for stimulating young scholar's academic interest, and cultivating their ability of research. The Doctoral Consortium also provides an opportunity for PhD students from different universities to exchange their academic works.

Meanwhile, the conference will hold Marketing Teaching Symposium, for improving the undergraduate teaching quality of marketing, and promoting theinnovation of marketing teaching practice.

Paper submission guideline

1. Submission guideline

(1) The conference papers (both Word and PDF version), based on the different topics, should be submitted via the different email address (Doctoral Consortium papers should be highlighted in the papers); Meanwhile, please notify your option of presentation (Oral Presentation or Poster);
(2) Paper submission deadline: August 1, 2014;
(3) Notification of acceptance all submissions: September 15, 2014.

2.Submission

The papers submitted to this conference will be blind peer reviewed, according to centesimal system and 5 valued standards. The reviewers include conference members and overseas scholars. The papers will be ranked based on the reviewer scoring, and the Best Paper Award (top 10 papers) would be considered in the top 40% papers; the next 60% papers have the opportunity to be presented in the conference.

The top 60% papers will be presented on Nov.15-16, 2014, and more details will be available one week before the Conference. Each speaker will be given 20 minutes for presentation, and 10 minutes for Q&A part.
