Corrosion Engineer

Corrosion Service Company was founded in 1950 and provides electrochemical corrosion control systems to a broad range of industries. Our engineering operations division supplies and supports electronics, instruments and technology used for the control and monitoring of corrosion in a variety of structures and equipment. Corrosion Service has grown and evolved into a multi-faceted organization with plants and offices across Canada. The successful candidate would be part of the Operations group. Duties of the Corrosion Engineer or E.I.T. would include but not be limited to;

Responsible for completing tasks related to the installation, energization and maintenance of cathodic protection systems. Responsible for completing tasks relating to field testing of AC mitigation projects.

Responsible for the maintenance and operational function of assigned vehicle, tools and equipment.

Responsible to coordinate and complete the specific project task objectives. Responsible for the infield training and development of other junior Project Team members.CP/AC design drawing reviews, Creation of QA/QC documentation for projects. CP/AC compliance reports, data review and formatting

The applicants should be university or college graduates from an electrical/electronic engineering or technology program. 1-2 years of experience in a field support type role would be an asset. Individuals with NACE CP Certification CP 1 or CP 2 would be preferred. Candidates must have good oral and written communication and computer skills.
