Salary: SCP Point 7 - £15,253 pro rata (pay award pending)

Hours available: 10 hours per week until December 2019

WACC is committed to providing progression opportunities for people who have additional learning needs. We are running an exciting and innovative project that is funded under a programme called Building Better Opportunities through European Social Fund and the Big Lottery Fund.

The project aims to support people with additional learning needs to explore the world of work and support them to address the barriers that may be preventing them from leading full and purposeful lives.

This post will provide day to day administrative support to the existing team. The post holder will be responsible for accurately inputting participant data on to a bespoke information management system and supporting the team with the administration required to develop, organise and deliver resource materials, group activities and related external activities.

You will be extremely organised and have a keen eye for detail and hold a Level 2 qualification in Business and Administration.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

PURPOSE OF JOB: The Bridges project is funded through Big Lottery Fund and the European Union through the European Social Fund. All hours will be worked on the BBO Bridges project

SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Willingness to respond flexibly to the changing demands of work through for example; variation in working times and the availability of new technology.

1.  MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:-

2.  Work closely with the BBO project team to ensure service delivery is conducted in a professional manner in line with current policies, procedures and related strategic documents.

3.  To develop and maintain appropriate office administrative and business support processes to ensure consistency of administration services for the project.

4.  Collation and secure retention of accurate data relating to client interventions and support services.

5.  Provision of management information and reports as required by BBO contract.

6.  Provide administrative support to staff and volunteer recruitment, induction and development, including the secure maintenance of documents and files.

7.  To maintain stock control and procurement of stationary and other sundries.

8.  Organise meetings and events to include taking minutes as required.

  1. Support the administration of workshop delivery.

10.  Support the project team to prepare monthly financial reporting requirements

11.  Assist in the preparation of petty cash imbursement

12.  To ensure day to day compliance with data protection polices and information security policies.

13.  When directed by a manager, undertake any other task appropriate to the skill and responsibilities of the role

14. Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, regulatory and social requirements.

15. Manager personal resources and own professional development

16. Ensure all duties are carried out in a manner which promotes SHS equality and diversity policies

17. Promote Health and Safety culture within the workplace, observe all health and safety rules and

procedures and all attend training courses as required.

18. Ensure essential information of a sensitive or personal nature is not disclosed to or discussed

with inappropriate persons.

19. All information must be maintained in accordance with the Data protection Act.

Skills & Abilities / Organised with good attention to detail
Computer Literacy in Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook
