Attorney Lane replied that Highway 71 is a State Road, so the project is theirs. None of the Council members had an update on the project. Mr. Brendle also asked if the roll off truck agreement is a temporary agreement, Councilman Diver replied. Mr. Brendle stated that a roll off truck could be used as a dump truck or even a snow plow. He also wanted to point out that fire trucks could be used to plow snow.

Shawn Boehmecke 505 Tenth Ave. Mr. Boehmecke wanted to know if there was any feedback regarding work for a curb on Tenth. Councilman Maccanico replied that he did not but possibly Mayor Enright might know. He stated that he has a new curb on the Park Ave side of his property which is looking beautiful but was hoping that it could also be done on the Tenth Ave side. He also wanted to know why the Fire Company didn’t dig out the fire hydrants, he has lived here has never seem them do it.

Kathleen Crippen 564 Atlantic Ave. She wanted to ask the Clerk if Environmental Meetings have been published, Acting Municipal Clerk replied yes, there is a publication in both the Coast Star and Asbury Park Press scheduled for October 27. She also asked about mail for the Environmental Commission; the clerk didn’t know but would look. She also asked Councilman Diver and Maccanico if she could liaison with them since a lot of work that the commission does is related to parks; Councilman Diver replied yes. Ms. Crippen also stated that in speaking to her attorney she was told that he had received a package via a police vehicle, she inquired if anyone knew about this, and why would we pay a policeman to do this? Attorney Lane stated he also had a delivery to his office. Attorney Lane stated it was the Mayor’s Pro se. Councilwoman Cindea stated that she had sent Mayor Enright an e-mail asking about the deliveries, she hadn’t yet received a reply. There was discussion about if this was proper.

Councilwoman King stated that although the meetings for the Environmental were posted, the Ms. Crippen was not posted on the other bulletin board as the Chairperson. Councilman Diver replied that the clerk could take care of that tomorrow.
