50Th Anniversary Vette Set Activities Calendar-January, 2015

January 8 --- General Meeting at WIN Chevrolet at 7pm.

January 21 ---Activities Dinner Meeting at 6:30pm: Mimi’s Café, 25343 Crenshaw Bl, Torrance, 90505. Bring your researched ideas for activities.

January 31 --- Annual Awards Banquet at Ports of Call Restaurant, San Pedro. $50 per person, includes dinner. Jan Jeffries is in charge of this event.

February 5---General Meeting at WIN Chevrolet at 7pm.

February 12--- Club Run to Ronald Reagan Presidential Library/ Museum featuring a special exhibit of amazing cars. Led by Carl Cewinski. Meet at 9:30am at KrispyKreme, 1199 W. ArtesiaBl, Gardena.

February 14---Vette Set Sweetheart Club Run, led by the Witfords andTullys. Meet at 10am at In-N-Out Burger, 3801 Inglewood Ave, Redondo Beach, just off 405 at Inglewood exit. Cost is $15 includes lunch. In case of rain, meet at the Tully’s house at noon: 21 Roanwood Dr, Rolling Hills Estates, 90274.

February 18---Activities Dinner Meeting at 6:30pm at Black Bear Diner, located at 24021 Hawthorne, Torrance, 90505. Bring your researched ideas.

February 28--- Club Run to Aero for a Show Shine sample detail tech day featuring their polishing products. Aero isone of our 2015 car show vendors. Led by Rob Weimer. Meet at in-N-Out Burger, Inglewood Ave at the 405 at 8:15, leaving at 8:30am. Tour is 9am-noon at 9058 Rosecrans Ave, Bellflower, CA 90706. They will provide breakfast items such as donuts, milk, coffee, juice, and pizza for lunch.

March 5 --- General Meeting at WIN Chevrolet at 7pm.

March 18 ---Activities Dinner Meeting at 6:30pm at Islands Restaurant, 1609 Hawthorne Bl, Redondo Beach, 90278. Bring your researched ideas.

March TBA --- Club Run to Lyon Air Museum near John Wayne OC Airport, featuring WWII aircraft, autos, military vehicles & motorcycles. Led by Kurt and Stella Swanson.

April 18---The Vette Set’s 40th Annual Car Show-All GM Cars and Trucks at Ruby’s Diner in Redondo Beach!

April 28 thru May 8--- "TVS 50th Anniversary Tour" departs from the Palm Desert area with other clubs participating. Contact Carl Cewinski.

NON-VETTE SET SPONSORED SO CAL ACTIVITIES

January 3--- Coffee & Cars features Corvettes new and old, 7:30-9am at the Peninsula Shopping Center, at Hawthorne Bl and Silver Spur Rd, between Starbucks and the Old Burger King in Palos Verdes. Enter/Exit off Hawthorne.

Cruising 50’s ---2nd Saturday of each month, 2-6pm for pre 1974 cars at PCH & Crenshaw, behind Wienerschnitzel.

Caffeine Cruisers--- Every Saturday, 7-10am in Torrance, on SE corner of Artesia & Hawthorne, between Starbucks & Sizzler.

Coffee & Cars --- 1st Saturday of the month, 7-9am at the Peninsula Shopping Center between Starbucks and the old Burger King in PV.
