Meeting Schedule

According to by-laws, regular meetings of the LCMS SBDM Council occur the THIRD WEDNESDAYof each month (except as underlined) beginning at 3:30 PM in the LCMS Cardinal Room. Our SBDM meetings for the 2014-2015 school year will occur on July 23 @ 1 PM, Aug. 20, Sept. 17, Oct. 15, Nov. 19, Dec. 17, Jan. 21, Feb. 18, March 18, April 15, May 20, & June 17. Parent and teacher elections are held in Marchor April of each school year. Everyone is encouraged to join a SBDM Standing Committee at any timeto provide input for school improvement. These committees meet monthly on Mondays after school. Please call the school at 988-3263 if you wish to put an item on the SBDM agenda, join a committee, volunteer, or have questions.

Agenda

At least one week prior to EACH meeting, the agenda is mailed to “all staff” with invitation to attend the open meeting or email/see member with input if the interested individual cannot attend. Items may be added to the agenda at the meeting if motion and consensus.

Minutes

Emailed to all staff, PTSO president, superintendent, and district SBDM supervisorwithin one week of each meeting (includes agenda for next meeting & invitation for attendance at Open Meeting or email of input if individual cannot attend); hard copies of our minutes are in SBDM secretary’s folder & posted on the foyer bulletin board; electronic copies are on OneDrive and staff email.

SBDM Responsibilities & Duties

This committee oversees school needs assessment and improvement.

All meetings are open to any interested stakeholders. Feel free to attend and provide input as you wish!!!

If you would like to be elected as a member of the SBDM council, please run for office during March-April of each year.

The election process is described in our LCMS SBDM Bylaws. Also, there are written procedures for electing teachers and parents. These three documents are stored in the LCMS SBDM Notebook located in the school office and our website and OneDrive.
