To All Wabtec Travelers:
Effective immediately, we are pleased to announce that Wabtec has a corporate rental agreement with Hertz Car Rental. With this agreement, all employees that register with Hertz will be awarded (fee waived) Hertz #1 Club Gold status. When traveling on company business, we strongly encourage you to use Hertz Car Rental to ensure we maintain the volume necessary to drive down our travel costs. Listed below are levels of service based on rentals.
Hertz #1 Club Gold
Canopy Service
-No stopping at any counter – not in terminal, not in rental lot – not anywhere
-No signing of any rental contracts. Once your Enrollment Agreement has been signed, unless you want to make changes in your enrollment or rental, you won’t have to look at another rental contract all year at any #1 Club Gold location.
-No searching for your car – The Hertz Courtesy Bus delivers you to a special weather-protected area. There, an electronic sign with your name clearly identifies your car.
-No waiting for computer checks. By the time you reach your car, all computer work is done. So at the gate, the attendant just checks your driver’s license and vehicle number on your rental record – and sends you on your way.
Counter Service
-At locations where canopied service is not available, Gold Counter Service gives you a fast way to go from your plane into the driving lane at over 550 airport locations worldwide including Europe, Canada and Australia.
-Just go to the special #1 Club Gold Members Only counter
- Show your driver’s license
- Pick up your keys and you’re on your way
Five Star
This service is available to any renter who within a calendar year rents 10 or more times. Qualification period begins January 1 and runs through December 31 of every year. All qualified rentals will be tallied, membership cards issued in April. Some of the benefits associated with this service:
-One-car-class upgrade, subject to availability
-One free rental day per 20 rentals
-Ability to participate in #1 Awards
-Limited blackout dates on free rental day certificates
-No blackout dates on discount coupons
-Four quarterly newsletters inclusive of Hertz special offers
President’s Circle
This service level is available to any renter who within a calendar year rents 40 or more times. Qualification period begins January 1 and runs through December 31 of every year. All qualified rentals will be tallied, membership cards issued in April. Some of the benefits associated with this service:
-Guaranteed freesell on cars A-F at corporate locations in the U.S.
-Gold Service with designated stall signs for President’s Circle
-Guaranteed one-car class upgrade to a maximum of G car class
-One free rental day per 20 rentals
-Earn #1 Awards and get a 25% bonus on #1 Awards points
-Limited blackout dates on free rental day certificates
-No blackout dates on discount coupons
-Birthday cards mailed with offer of 500 bonus miles or #1 Awards points
-Four quarterly newsletters inclusive of Hertz special offers
