YOU NOW HAVE YOUR EXAM RESULTS…..WHAT TO DO NEXT…
HAVE YOU FAILED SOME MODULESand your Academic Standing is “Exemptions Granted” or “Fail” or “Absent”
Repeat Exams in August – Apply Online from 14th June to 14th July. Please note that no applications will be accepted after this date. Just click on the “Re-apply” link on your Exam Results page.
▪The Fee is €100 and must be paid at the time of applying.

At the discretion of your Head of Department, it may be possible to progress and carry one module into the following academic year provided it has been attempted in the forthcoming Autumn sitting and does not exceed 10 credits. This does not apply to students wishing to progress to Advanced Entry Programmes.
HAVE YOU BEEN GRANTED A DEFERRAL IN 1 OR MORE MODULE(S) BUT PASSED EVERYTHING ELSEand your Academic Standing is “Deferral”
You will be automatically entered for the August Examinations for this module(s). There is no fee and August will be counted as your first attempt at this module.You do not need to apply online.
ARE YOU CURRENTLY COMPLETING YOUR PLACEMENTand yourAcademic Standing is “Incomplete”
Your placement result will be considered at the Autumn Exam Board in early September. If you have passed all other modules you should return to college on the 11th September2017.
You will be sent further information with regard to registering for 2017/18 academic year after the publication of the Autumnexam results.
If you are unsuccessful in your placement you will not be permitted to continue in the subsequent year of study.
If you are on placement and have failed other module(s) you must apply online for the Repeat Exams in August (see above for further information).

If you are eligible to progress to the next stage of your programme you will receive an email to your Student Email Account by mid July 2017. You should also receive an SMS message.
Online Registrationfor 2017/18 will be available from 14thJuly to early August.
