Born and raised in Glasgow, Brian studied Drawing & Painting at Glasgow School of Art, then trained as a writer/ director at the U.K.’s National Film & Television School, and between 1984 and ‘94 directed over 50 music videos for a variety of international artists including Sade, AC/DC, Barry Gibb, Art Garfunkel, Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders. He has since worked extensively as a screenwriter, and sometime producer and director, in international film and TV.
