The current project also involved enabling requirements process by elucidating Business know-how and documenting Functional Specification for Deutsche Bank AG London - CTAS operations application software. This software is the main operations backbone for London and Europe operations.
This application is being re-engineered and modelled to meet current and future business needs CTAS. This also involves transiting of 5 different subsidiary applications into the main application.

Securities Market / Lead a team of 25 technical developers to develop products related to securities market and bridging gap between end customer requirement and the products developed.
  1. New Products Specification Developed – Integrated Cash Derivative trading front end and comprehensive Span like /VaR based risk management - CWS Lite (web based admin and surveillance module), The software calculates the margins to be charged by the Clearing House for each member. I have modified the methodology used by SPAN (a product developed by CME) by using more scenarios and incorporating volatility calculation techniques recommended by Risk Metrics (J.P. Morgan) for risk management applications. The Analytics component is to be used across the range of products and is part of the Analytics product being developed by Elind.
  2. Made specifications for developing equity, fixed income securities, currencies and derivatives order management software for multiple exchanges.
  3. Made product presentation and successfully completed empanelment and approval of product for Singapore stock exchange -SGX

Guiding 35-member team’s development efforts to meet customer requirements and expectations on schedule with fractional percentage of defect leakage and nil functional bugs.

The project involves re-engineering and remodelling 5 different legacy applications and merging them into single application to meet current and future business needs of the Bank. The project size in terms effort is about 1300 man months.

Engineered requirements gathering and concluded with requirements sign off by over 20 customer business personnel. This involved elucidating business flows and documenting functional specification for Deutsche Bank AG London - CTAS operations application software.

Steered development of a Prototype and get initial feed back and concurrence with the customer.

This application is like backbone to CTAS core operations in fixed income segment for London and rest of Europe.

The work also involves educating and functional domain transfer to various teams - Engineering team, architecture team, development team and guiding testing team effort to UAT close.
