·  use of modern technology (e.g. see ICAO Safety Management iKit, WMO
e-guides).

b)  Development of guidance on the BIP-M qualification standard for AMF

·  review currently available guidance, and references from WMO-No. 49 and EC-64;

·  discuss options on how to structure the guidance, types of documentary evidence, incorporation of CPD, the role of PRs, how organizations can deal with missing records.

c)  Review on status of implementation of Competency Assessment, and achievement of BIP-M by AMFs

d)  Development of competency-based training approach

e)  Other ET-ETC deliverables, as prioritized

5.2.  ET-GOV

a)  Global survey of business models and cost recovery, that expands on previous survey results

·  Format and content of the survey; coordination with ET-CCP for maximizing the response rate;

·  Survey data processing and presentation of results.

b)  Guidance on general governance principles, i.e., international and national legal and regulatory frameworks

·  Improved guidance on MET Authority, MET service provider, MET oversight;

·  National and regional legislation and regulation (e.g., EASA regulations).

c)  Guidance on business models and cost-recovery (including revival and update of WMO-No. 732, Guide to Practices for Meteorological Offices Serving Aviation, aligned with current developments)

·  Principles of regionalized services and cost-recovery;

·  Cost recovery for training services;

·  Structure and content of guidance material.

d)  Other ET-GOV deliverables

6.  UPDATE OF ET WORK PLANS & DELIVERABLES

·  Updating work plans and priorities with well-defined deliverables, timelines and accountable team members;

·  Agreement on joint GOV/ETC activities and performance indicators;

·  Consideration of need for collaboration with other ETs.
