Entry Fee:$165.00 (make checks payable to Dowling Club) – 3 game guarantee
***All proceeds will go to Valley High School Boys Basketball and Dowling Catholic Booster Club***
Roster:A team roster must be provided at the start of the tournament. Participating players and two coaches per team will be admitted for free.
Admission:Admission will be charged. We will have a daily rate and a discounted weekend rate.

With my signature, I hereby release the Westside Classic and all of its officers, Dowling Catholic and West Des Moines Valley, and employees, and other agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, or injury that may be sustained by our participation in, traveling to or from, or observing the events that are part of the Westside Classic.
DEADLINE IS OCTOBER 20, 2016
DOWLING CATHOLIC BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT RULES:
•Iowa High School Athletic Association rules will be followed.
•2- 18 minute halves with running clock. Clock will NOT stop on free throws.
•Clock will not stop in first half but will stop last TWO minutes of second halfas long as game is within 15 points.
***If game is not 15+ before 2:00 mark but gets to that point after 2:00 mark the clock will continue to run. If game is 15+ at 2:00 mark and is cut to 10 or under the clock will then stop on all whistles).***
•Overtime periods will be two minutes/ 2nd Overtime is one minute/ 3rd Sudden Death.
•Pressing is allowed – coaches use sportsmanship and pull off if up by 15.
•Teams will provide Game balls. The game ball will be the 28.5” high school girls basketball.
•Teams are allowed three timeouts per game – one additional timeout per overtime period.
•Time outs are one minute in length.
•Tie Breaker:
1. Head to Head
2. Total Points Allowed
3. Total Points Scored
4. Coin Flip
We will use 2 Officials for each game.
Coaches– our tournament will run on time. Make sure your players are ready to go. If your team is not
playing, they need to stay off the court – no shooting or dribbling during time-outs. Additionally, each team will be responsible for providing one adult to assist with the scoreboard or time clock for each game played.
