Westminster Concessions Pass

Westminster Council’s concessions pass allows many residents to enjoy significant discounts on sports and leisure activities within the borough’s five indoor and outdoor leisure facilities.

Who can apply?

If you have a disability or are caring for a disabled person, are a Westminster resident, a senior citizen or a Westminster resident who is unemployed and currently seeking employment, you are entitled to free swimming and significant discounts on all Leisure activities within Westminster.

All Westminster residents can secure leisure savings using facilities by obtaining a Westminster ResCard.

Please see the categories below and the documentation needed to obtain a concessions pass. You can apply in person at the Leisure Centre closest to you.

B / Resident Senior Citizens (aged 60 and above) / Freedom Pass, Birth Certificate, Passport, Pension Book / One Year
C / Resident Unemployed + a maximum of two dependent children under the age of 16 / Jobseekers allowance (Working Tax Credit not eligible) / Six months
  • Present any of the above original documents in your application category above – the document will be returned to you.

What do I need to apply?

Requirements / Details
Proof of Concessionary Status: / Benefit document originals listed above required to stop fraudulent misuse. Must be current (within last three months)
Proof of Address: / Any two of the following documents to be provided.
i) Utility Bill / Must be current (from the previous three months)
ii) Rent/Child Benefit/Pension Book / Benefit Book to be used as one means of proof of address
Iii) Bank/Credit Card Statement / Must be current (from the previous three months)
Iv) Building Society Book / Must be current (from the previous three months)
v) ResCard/Youth ResCard / No address or Photo on ResCard… Not to be used as proof.
Vi) Current Driving License / Picture Driving License only.

Do I qualify for a concession pass?

  • Non-resident senior citizens are not eligible
  • Maximum two dependent children under the age of 16
  • Low income earners can apply for ResCard discounts
  • Carers are eligible for concession card
  • Students in Westminster are able to receive alternative discounts
  • A doctor’s letter is not proof.
