Sorry but can't make tomorrow night. Since the last meeting we have played 3 more matches, winning 2 and losing the other. Player numbers still the main problem to be addressed. Played 9 matches now, losing only 3, so on track for meeting my target of playing 12 matches this season. Gained 1 new player, Jim Waterhouse, who lives in Redmire but was playing for Barnard Castle. Lost 1 player unfortunately as Woody decided he could no longer play for us. (Paul Roberts) / Need more players – summer rugby for beginners?

We propose to have a clearance sale of all the stock at the next opportunity to clear the shelves and generate funds to re stock with new supplier. Some of the kit is very dated and not that useful, there are also over a 100 pairs of socks. The stock should be sold as cheap as possible to clear the shelves asp. The current pricing is too expensive and certainly as far as playing kit is concerned should be sold at a price as close to cost as possible. If this can be agreed we can progress this. Badger at this stage being the preferred supplier unless anyone else has another kit supplier in mind.
/ Need to ensure regulars - mouth guards, studs, socks etc readily available weekly / NA
RWA / A schools tag competition should be held at the club in May led by the RWA working to the World Cup format, it's just an idea but can't think of a better way of getting schools to visit the club. It would have to be mid week which does create problems, which we can resolve.

School Rugby / My name is Eddie Myers and i am a P.E. teacher at Allertonshire School. I have tried getting hold of you on your mobile, but with no luck as yet!
I am helping to organise the Hambleton and Richmond rugby 7s this year, and am hoping Wensleydale RUFC will be able to host the competition, as in previous years?? I do not know if the club have been given a date earlier in the year, but it is planned for the 10th March, if that is ok withthe rugby club???
If this is all ok, please can you let me know asap, so we can finalise arrangements for the tournament.
Kind Regards
Eddie

On 12 February, England 2015 announced details of the volunteer programme for the rugby world cup. This is a fantastic initiative that recognises the contribution of existing volunteers within our rugby community and ensures that clubs are able to take part in shaping the event. Over 6000 volunteers are needed with 4500 spaces reserved for clubs.
Each voting club has two spaces allocated (with one additional place held as a sub); non-voting clubs have one space (with one additional space held as a sub). Each club is mapped to a venue and for the Yorkshire CB members, this is Elland Road. / Need to decide who to nominate
