Welcome to WEF House Update! This service for members of the Water Environment Federation House of Delegates brings you information of interest regarding the management and governance of the Federation. The WEF House Update serves as a communication link between the WEF Board of Trustees and the House of Delegates. Each issue brings an e-mail summarizing subjects of interest with a link to a website for accessing detailed information. Through the website (wefnet.org) Directors, Officers and the WEF Board of Trustees can communicate on issues of importance to the Federation and its membership. Action items for Directors and MAs are highlighted.

In this issue ofWEF House Update

  • The Winter issue of WEF House Update is focusing on collaboration among Member Associations and between the WEF Board of Trustees and the House of Delegates.
  • There is discussion of the current WEFMAX meetings and the roles for Directors and MA Leaders in WEFMAX discussions and the subsequent WEFTEC House of Delegates Meetings.
  • Upcoming issues of WEF House Update:
  • The Spring issue will report out from WEFMAX and begin building linkages to the House of Delegates’ Strategy Group sessions and other activities at WEFTEC. This issue will also report from the April Board of Trustees’ meeting. This will be the annual “Strategies” issue.
  • The Summer issue will provide outcomes from the July Board of Trustees’ meeting and specific actions at WEFTEC for Directors’ activities in strategic planning, Member Association communications and WEF governance. This will be the annual “Actions” issue.
